Our third webcast will feature Dr. Joanne Parsons, from the other side of the Atlantic, who will discuss the challenges of anterior cruciate ligament injuries from a gender perspective, on December 11, 2023 at 7:00 pm!
While it’s often argued that being a girl or a woman increases the risk of cruciate ligament injuries, new ways of approaching these issues are emerging. And in 2021, Dr. Parsons published an excellent paper approaching the problem from a new angle: what if gendered representations and the environment had a greater influence than we initially thought?
